Supported through a passionate and dedicated team of university-qualified Teachers and Educators, our childcare and day care centre in Coorparoo is an inclusive learning environment for children where a personalised approach to learning opportunities ensures children are supported to be bold, creative, and curious in their learning journey.

With a variety of exciting, resource-rich environments including a vegetable garden, chickens, a cubby house, a mud pit, and age-specific play areas, children are encouraged to explore, develop life skills, and embrace lifelong learning throughout the day.

At our Coorparoo child care centre, children receive exceptional care and have the opportunity to see familiar faces as they transition from our nursery room to our kindergarten program. This program is specifically designed to help prepare your child for the transition from early learning to primary school, fostering skills that will support their learning journey for years to come.

The QLD Government offers funding to provide families at our centre up to 15 hours of free kindergarten a week. The funding off sets the fees for children who turn four years old by 30 June in the year before they attend primary school. This support is in addition to the CCS and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will also have the chance to gain an understanding of their child’s learning. Easily accessible for families, our Learning Exchange Display provides the opportunity for our qualified Teachers and dedicated Educators to share with you any updates on their progress every day. You will also have the chance to share with us your own personal goals and visions for us to implement, having direct input in your child’s educational journey.

We value nurturing strong relationships with families, which is why we provide access to our family communication app, Storypark. Through this platform, we keep you updated on the important moments in your child’s day and share key updates from the centre, ensuring you stay connected and involved, even when you’re not physically here.

If you’re looking to begin the adventure and are wanting to explore, book a tour and meet our team at Guardian Childcare & Education Coorparoo today!

We adore this daycare and the educators who look after the children so well. The administration staff have always been lovely and welcoming, and the centre has a lovely feel to it. There is a lovely garden, sandpit, a chicken coup and their own personal chef! We have always felt the care to be exceptional, including making sure children are comforted, sunscreen is reapplied, and the food is varied and nutritious.

I want to thank each and every member of the team for working tirelessly to support my 10 month old transition into daycare. Our little one has come leaps and bounds in such amount of short time. I was recommended the centre from my sister who had previously sent her 3 y.o. there. They have since moved on, but after 3 months, her son still talks about the centre and all his wonderful educators. We will forever sing Archan and team's praises and recommend the centre to everyone in the area. Thank you Guardian Coorpraoo for all your hard work and commitment to the children's safety and happiness.

Guardian Coorparoo is a wonderful daycare centre. The facilities are nice, with a great outdoor space (veg garden + chickens!) and the long centre hours (with offerings such as breakfast) are super helpful when we work across town. My 5-star review is mainly for the lovely, friendly, caring and supportive team of Educators and Management. I appreciate the daily updates/snapshots and the Educators clever new ideas of learning activities.

Guardian Coorparoo is a a wonderful Daycare facility. We attended for almost 2 years only changing centers due to the fact we moved. The Educators were wonderful and they grew to feel like part of our family. Our boys were always cared for very well. The educational activities were great in extending their interests and skills. The outdoor facilities are great, plenty of room to run around and play in. Also loved that they have chickens, tickle bees and worms great learning experience for the children.Would highly recommend Guardian Coorparoo.

As a parent of children who have attended Guardian Coorparoo for the past 4 years, just wanted to add a recent review with my thoughts about the centre. There is an amazing group of caring Educators who work here and the work they do is hard. During and post-COVID the centre has been working to recover from the mass changes brought about through the impact of visa changes and burnout associated with working in a frontline environment over the past few years. Thankfully, a core of dedicated team members has led the charge to welcome new team members and families to the centre.I really like the size of this centre as it's smaller than many of the newer centres in the area. It has only 7 rooms with a good amount of space in each and importantly, a natural outdoor area with a large shady tree for the Summer. A good size sandpit, rock garden and raised garden beds that facilitate the kids learning about veggie growing

Rhythm of the Day

We know children (and families) like routine. Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.

Whilst no two days of learning are ever the same - here's what a day at Guardian might look like.

Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.

Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.

As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.

There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.

Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.

For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.

Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.

As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.

Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Learn More About Our Centre

Guardian Childcare and Education Coorparoo is your trusted local childcare provider, offering the warmth and comfort of a family home in southwest Brisbane. As a top-rated daycare, our Coorparoo daycare centre features a purpose-built outdoor space accessible from every classroom, with plenty of room for children to run, ride, and explore.

Designed for children aged six weeks to six years, our spacious Coorparoo childcare centre provides a stimulating and nurturing environment. Filled with bright, engaging materials, the centre encourages curiosity and supports children to discover the world in a safe and secure way.

Our dedicated team of university-qualified Teachers and Educators guide children through these important early years, helping them develop social, emotional, and learning skills. By creating imaginative and creative learning experiences, we ensure every child thrives in a safe and supportive environment.

Guardian Coorparoo offers all-day daycare, open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm every weekday, providing families with flexible options for drop-off and pick-up times. We encourage families to spend time exploring our learning environment during drop-off or pick-up, where our Educators can walk you through the classroom spaces and explain our approach to early education.

As a leading provider of Coorparoo childcare, we also support families in continuing their child’s learning journey at home through engaging activities. At Guardian Coorparoo, we value family involvement to ensure every child feels happy, supported, and excited to grow and learn.

Our family communication app, Storypark, provides you with photos and updates on your child throughout the day, offering you the opportunity to stay informed about your child’s early learning and development. We also set up different learning outcomes for the children through Storypark, which supports them in achieving developmental milestones and understanding new ideas.

For children aged three and four, we have a kindergarten program led by university-qualified Teachers that can support your child in their preparation for the step up into primary school. Our kindergarten curriculum is based on leading child development research and demonstrates our commitment to providing the best possible start to life for your child through quality child care services.

Our early childhood education program is led by specialist Educational Leaders who guide teaching and learning in a flexible and research-supported way. The leading early learning curriculum supports discovery and gives children the best start to life, as well as being aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard.

Through our high-quality kindergarten program, children have the opportunity to learn some of the skills that are often only introduced in early primary school. We begin learning and exploring shapes, numbers and letters through fun, play-based activities.

We develop each child’s literacy and numeracy skills to help them feel confident and prepared during the challenging leap into primary school. Our high-quality program supports the needs and routines of each of our families, and we ensure each child’s cultural and family background is supported and encouraged.

We’re committed to children’s nutrition, and our on-site cook prepares each meal fresh and packed with all the nutrients that children need at their age. We encourage children to engage in food preparation and to ask questions about where their food comes from, why it’s good for them, and how they can eat it. We also encourage exploration of the cultural heritage behind different foods, helping promote diversity and inclusion from an early age.

As part of our unique Visible Learning Program, families will be able to gain an understanding of their child’s education. Our Learning Exchange Display will provide the opportunity for our Teachers and Educators to share updates on your child’s progress. It will also be a chance for you to have direct input into your child’s learning!

At our Greenslopes Childcare Centre, we are passionate about providing exceptional early learning opportunities tailored to each child’s needs. Conveniently located for families seeking daycare near Norman Park, Holland Park daycare, or Carina Heights childcare, our centre also welcomes children from Seven Hills and surrounding areas. As a trusted early learning centre, we foster a nurturing environment where young minds can thrive, making us the ideal choice for those looking for childcare near Seven Hills or a nearby Seven Hills kindergarten. Our dedicated Early Childhood Educators are committed to ensuring your child’s growth, development, and happiness every step of the way through a quality education experience.

Understanding the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an essential part of planning for your child’s early education. At Greenslopes Childcare Centre, we aim to make childcare accessible and affordable for all families, which is why we’re here to help you navigate the Child Care Subsidy process. The subsidy, provided by the Australian Government, can significantly reduce out-of-pocket childcare costs for eligible families based on factors like income, activity level, and the type of approved care you choose. Our friendly team is happy to assist with any questions you may have about applying for the CCS or understanding how it can benefit your family, ensuring your little one gets the best start possible.

Why not come and meet the team and have a look around our Centre today? We’d love to show you why Guardian Childcare and Education Coorparoo is the perfect learning environment for your child. At Guardian, we believe that together, we can give young children the best start to life.
